Incorporated in 1964, the Montrose County Sheriff’s Posse is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation celebrating over 60 years of service to the community. The MCSPÂ provides voluntary, independent support to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office for Search & Rescue, Wildfire Suppression, Security, Community Service and other services in which the volunteers are trained, qualified and certified to perform.
Membership Information
The posse meets on the second Monday of every month for training and a general meeting. Additional field training sessions are held throughout the year.
